Ever since Banshee-44, the Gunsmith in the Tower, got his own bounties, players have been searching for some odd things in Destiny 2. The latest is a definition of Trace Rifles, which is one of the weapon classes players must earn kills with to complete a bounty. This guide will give players a complete list of the Trace Rifles in Destiny 2 to help knock out that bounty.
There are very few Trace Rifles in Destiny 2. In fact, there are only three on PS4, and two of them on Xbox One and PC. Each one is an exotic weapon, so getting them can also be tricky. Luckily, Destiny 2 has been out for some time now, so most veteran players will have one or two of the following Trace Rifles:
Again, each weapon is exotic and each one is an Energy weapon. Wavesplitter was previously the PS4 exclusive, but now that Bungie is self-published, it is available across all platforms.
Divinity is the Exotic Trace Rifle added to Destiny 2 with Shadowkeep. Unlike the other rifles on this list, Divinity has a quest line that you must complete in order to acquire it. Check out our guide on how to get Divinity for a full walkthrough.
The good news for Guardians is that exotic gear can be recalled from Collections. Simply bring up your character and browse to the Collections tab, then find your exotic weapons and choose between one of the Trace Rifles you have unlocked and recall it. It won’t pull at the same Power level you’re currently at, but it should be close enough to finish the bounty.
