Escalation Protocol schedule - Destiny 2

Keep track of weapon availability by knowing the Escalation Protocol schedule and the boss and weapon rotation in Destiny 2.

Escalation Protocol was included in Destiny 2’s second piece of DLC, Warmind, and since its release players have been tracking its schedule to ensure proper farming of correct weapons. Any players looking to get their hands on the fabled IKELOS Shotgun would do well to remember this page whenever they need to know the Escalation Protocol schedule and rotation.

Escalation Protocol schedule

Every weekly reset brings a new boss to Escalation Protocol as well as one of the three weapons (or all three at once). These weapons and bosses occur on a 5-week rotation, so if you’re chasing the IKELOS_SG_v1.0.1, the shotgun used in a lot of end-game activities like the Last Wish raid, then you will need to ensure you play on the correct week lest you want to wait five weeks. Alternatively, players can try out their luck on the “all weapons” week.

It’s also worth noting that players looking to get the Sleeper Simulant Exotic catalyst will need to have all three Escalation Protocol weapons, so it’s worth farming for them. Thankfully, update 1.2.3 made weapon reward chances “more deterministic” meaning after killing the boss, players will increase their chance of receiving the weapon. Below is a table of the Escalation Protocol rotations starting at the beginning of 2019 and finishing in December. We will continue to update this schedule throughout the year.

The following table has been updated. Most old dates have been removed and the Escalation Protocol rotations for 2020 have been added.

Players looking to farm for all the Escalation Protocol weapons will likely want to bookmark this page and return to it over the course of a few weeks.
